A Final Jump

So after many long weeks of no work, I have finally started writing more on the main manuscript. It's not much and it really is only introducing the Alkaiel (yes Alkaies has changed). And a few more foreshadowings of everything that is to come. Most of which will deal with the unknown military group I have yet to name.

Arrow Child is also a title that has always made me wonder. What does that name bloody mean? Arrow Child is key to the plot in a lot of ways. It references Artemis, as seen in a song I wrote for the military group (who again needs a name, one that isn't lame too). It also references what the Amazones consider to be a sort of messiah. Note I am not leading up to some sort of epic hero story, far from it. Arrow Child is about a struggle, as with most great stories.

There is no hero per say in AC, but there is a message and many carry that message. Part of that message is that Amazons are no leather bikini wearing teasers (sorry Xena :( ). The Amazones were a powerful nation that arose in the wilds of Thrace and conquered the other tribes around them. It is the heritage of war, totemic shamanism, and to a land that they earned with every last drop of blood and lost sister in battle.
